The Wildlife Charters boat crew offers more than thirty years B.C. coastal experience as seasoned Mariners and Federal Fisheries enumeration/research contractors.
Their experiences encompass many years working, living and traveling along every coastal mile between Bella Bella (Waglisla) on the wild, mid-coast of British Columbia to the balmy southern shores of Victoria on the southern tip of Vancouver Island.

Bear viewing from a boat? It is the only way to go! Our coastal boating expertise will guide you into lush river estuaries of mainland British Columbia to follow the returning salmon and feasting grizzly and black bears. Unlike other wildlife viewing eco tours, you can actually p articipate in ecological education through grizzly bear hair recovery for DNA samples, or fisheries research programs
Love those Killer Whales?
Try whale watching with an educational twist. Wildlife Charters can take you to seasonal migration routes used by resident and transient killer whales (Orcas), dolphins or porpoise species in hot pursuit of salmon and herring. After a long day on the water we will anchor in a bay to hear local researchers discuss their studies and then slowly drift to sleep surrounded by the sound of Orca Whale blows in the night.
Sport Fishing in your blood?
Our years of Fisheries research have assisted us in qualifying the salmon fishing “Hot Spots” on the BC coast. Chad, your guide and skipper, acquired a fishing Master's edge from his world famous, sports fishing celebrity father, Charlie White. Charlie is known for lure development and underwater camera research to monitor salmon feeding behavior. Go salmon fishing from the Boston Whaler in the estuary, jet boat up the river, then drift; snorkel or kayak back down amongst a spectacular display of spawning salmon.
